Skye Hallam
Meisner Acting Coach
Skye Hallam is an actress and Meisner acting coach.
She is known for The Crown (2018), The Alienist (2018) and Intrigo: Samaria (2019). Her parents are actress Elaine Hallam and Latin Percussionist Paul Hankin, of The Ozric Tentacles.
Skye made her professional stage debut in October 2016 as the lead in PARADISE OF THE ASSASSINS – which opened the new TARA Arts theatre in Earlsfield.
In 2016 Skye also wrapped on BE AS YOU WISH TO SEEM – director John Turner’s debut short film.
In 2017 Skye completed four on screen roles in both TV and Film. Skye played Lee Raziwill in THE CROWN season II and Maxine Parish in CASUALTY on BBC One.
In 2017 Skye also completed her feature film debut in Daniel Aldredson’s INTRIGO trilogy. The trilogy stars Ben Kingsley and is based on the novels by Hakan Nesser. The film will be released later this year. Skye has most recently appeared in THE ALIENIST for TNT which is available now on Netflix.
Skye has also worked with brands such as DOLCE AND GABANA as part of their DG MILLENNIALS Campaign.
Throughout 2018 Skye completed various narration and voice over projects including the short film 126,000 STEPS which went on to win the East End Film Festival’s 100FT High Competition.
Skye has also been a regular reader for BBC Radio 3 programs MUSIC MATTERS and WORDS AND MUSIC, reading extracts from plays, poems and factual pieces. She has appeared in 3 episodes which are all still available to listen to on BBC iPlayer. The latest episode of WORDS AND MUSIC with producer Georgia Mann was last aired on January the 5th 2020.
Most recently Skye has appeared on stage as the lead in FOXES a new play by Dexter Flanders which will be playing at the Theatre 503 from April this year. Skye has also been workshopping and developing the LIFE OF PI which is now transferring to the West End in 2020.
Skye teaches classes at The Reel Scene as part of The Screen Acting Year Course and The Event, as well as conduction workshops by Zoom for The Actors Gym
