What is the Reel Scene Online Acting Course?
This is an online acting course for beginner/intermediate level actors
The actors in the course will have the opportunity to learn from working and professional actors, agents, directors and casting directors from London and Hollywood. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the industry, including acting techniques/casting sessions, scene study, auditioning and self-taping, voice work (covering accents and voice techniques) and career development. The course is suitable for international students as it will be conducted online via Zoom.
At the end of the course, students will have gained a solid foundation in acting techniques, an understanding of the industry, and the skills and confidence needed to pursue a career in acting. Additionally, students will finish the course with an online showcase to industry guests – directors/agents/casting Directors and producers including agency RS talent and film producer Alex Fidelski.
Furthermore, students will receive access to our online Actors Gym Membership, where they can practice their craft in between classes online (at home) develop their self-tape technique and complete the self-tape course and then upload practice self-tapes, and network with other actors and industry professionals.
The introductory course fee of £599 for 3 months (£99 deposit) is a great value for the comprehensive curriculum, individual attention from instructors, and access to the online Actors Gym Membership.

At the end of the course, the actors, will leave with their own process, network of industry connections, understanding of the industry and career they wish to pursue!

The Reel Scene Online Acting Course - Curriculum
As part of your purchase, you’ll receive 3 months of access to The Actors Gym. We’ll send you a list of pre-recorded “Actors Gym” lessons we recommend you watch. We’ll also send you class recommendations to support you in developing further. For example, classes and Q&As with celebrity actors such as Asa Butterfield, Masterclasses with Kevin McNally and Hakeem Kae Kazim and lessons on screen acting and agent/casting Director/ director Q&As.

Yes, you will need to be able to speak and understand English.
Class dates and times will be announced soon.
All you need is the latest copy of Zoom, which is freely available from https://zoom.us
This software runs on most devices including PC, Mac, iPad and mobile phones.
We recommend you take the classes in a quiet room with good lighting where you can perform any scene work, warmups etc and aren’t distracted by sounds or other people. We recommend you keep your microphone muted when not speaking for the convenience of the tutor and other students.

We accept payment by PayPal, credit card and bank transfer. We’re FCA-approved. Normally, you’ll need to pay in advance, directly to The Reel Scene. You can arrange this by contacting us.
Yes, we will record the workshops. These will be made available only to the students who have paid fo the course. If you do not wish your participation to be recorded, please let us know as we may be able to edit you out of the final recordings.
If the course is delayed we will give you the option to cancel your booking and refund you (unless you’ve paid a non-refundable deposit) or, where possible, offer you a place on a later course.
PayPal will allow you to use a credit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account.
