More than just a school!
At The Reel Scene, we are more than just an acting school. With an agency attached and we work in producing films winning awards at top festivals. We provide comprehensive training for actors to excel in film and television. Located in London, our school features industry professionals including agents, casting/tv/film directors, and renowned actors such as Asa Butterfield, David Schaal, and Kevin McNally.
Additionally, we have an acting agency attached called RS Talent. We offer part-time acting courses for all levels, ages, and students worldwide, from training and headshots to audition preparation, all designed to help aspiring actors turn their passion into a profession. With our extensive network connections, we provide opportunities to launch your acting career. Our CEO, Alex Fidelski, casts and produces feature films, further cementing our ties to the industry. We’re actively involved in industry events, from awards ceremonies and premieres to prestigious film festivals. For instance, our films have been screened and showcased in the top film festivals around the world including the market at Cannes, Austin, Berlin. Additionally, we organise and encourage our actors to attend vital networking events, helping to drive growth and opportunities in the field.

Many of our courses and workshops include filmed exercises and scenes, such as The Event, The Asa Butterfield Masterclass and The Screen Acting Year Course. We are one of the few professional acting courses who shoot scenes with our actors every month as part of our Screen Acting Year Course. We want to get you in front of the camera as often as possible, after all, that’s what acting is about! You’ll shoot scenes to practise the particular skills you’ve learned, and these scenes will be edited by our in-house professional editor Lucas Young (Television New Zealand, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King). These scenes are crucial for you to learn about framing, continuity, performance, the effects of lighting and directing and much more. You’ll receive the scenes as files you can use as part of your showreel.
Our Screen Acting Year Course and 6-day Event both come with headshots! Not only will we schedule a professional headshot shoot for you with an agency like Pure Headshots, but we will also teach you how to get the best out of your headshots and what casting directors look for in headshots.

A good agent will only sign an actor once they’ve had a chance to see them work, to see how they work with other actors and crew, and have reviewed their showreel and headshots. Agents from RS Talent regularly attend workshops and classes (we are always looking for new talent) and may recommend further training if you show promise. That’s why it’s great to come to these workshops, meet people, make friends and make yourself known! Most of our graduates leave our courses and gain representation (98% in 2019).
We welcome actors of all ages and levels of experience! If you’re under 16, you’ll need the approval of your parent or guardian, but we welcome parents to come along and watch the classes. Some of our courses may require you to be 18 or older (such as The Event) for example, we hold our showcase in theatres and we have hired pubs for location shoots where alcohol may be served.
