What do I need to bring?

All information will be provided before your course starts, however in general you need to bring: a costume for your shoot if applicable, appropriate clothing for your headshots, pad, pen, printed scripts. We recommend wearing loose-fitting clothing. Bring a bottle of water!

Who can take part in your acting courses?

We welcome English-speaking actors of all ages and levels of experience, from anywhere in the world! If you’re under 16, you’ll need the approval of your parent or guardian, but we welcome parents to come along and watch the classes. Feel free to contact us if you’d like to know more.

What’s a Taster Acting Workshop?

A taster workshop is a gentle and fun introduction to acting! How do I pay for the courses?

We accept payment by PayPal, credit card and bank transfer. We’re FCA-approved. Normally, you’ll need to pay in advance, directly to The Reel Scene. You can arrange this by contacting us.

How is my reel delivered?

We’ll send you up to three drafts to review by private YouTube link. Once you’re happy, we’ll send you the final file as an .mp4 video at 1080p resolution, which will work on most devices, by WeTransfer. Can I give notes?

Of course! We will post up to three drafts to YouTube privately for you to review and make tweaks (within reason) until you’re happy with the final product.

How long will it take?

Once you’ve supplied us all of your footage, we can turn around your showreel in only a few working days!
