Over 9 weeks, every Thursday evening in Central London, you’ll step into real audition environments, tackle advanced scene work, and receive direct, practical feedback from working casting directors, actors, directors and RS Talent agents.

This is focused, high-standard training built to keep you audition-ready, consistent, and adaptable - working with the people who hire, cast and shape performances every day.

Week 2 - Scene Study for Screen
Deep character work, objectives, intention and nuance that holds up under casting-room scrutiny.

Week 3 - Self-Tape That Books (casting director led)
Refine the skill that dominates modern casting. Precision, clarity and presence — no safe, forgettable reads.

Week 4 - Casting Session : Commercials & Shorts
Simulated casting sessions. Learn how to make impact fast and deliver under time pressure.

Week 5 - Taking Direction Like a Pro
Adapt quickly. Apply notes clearly. Show casting and directors you’re professional, flexible and set-ready.

Week 6 - Casting Session : TV Roles
Sides from current productions. Understand what separates callbacks from pass-bys.

Week 7 - Voice, Physicality & Presence
Strengthen vocal control, physical awareness and presence to expand your casting range.

Week 8 - Advanced Scene Work & Chemistry Reads
Work in pairs and groups on complex scenes, testing adaptability, chemistry and collaboration.

Week 9 - Casting Session : The Recall Audition
You’ve been called back. Deliver consistency, take redirection, and perform under real recall conditions with casting professionals.

I play Jay’s Dad in The Inbetweeners and am an acting coach for the Reel Scene. They provide a very modern training programme for aspiring actors. All students receive a solid grounding in the Stanislavski and Meisner techniques and the courses are geared towards performance. Actors leave the one year course with some fantastic showreel material as they are filming scenes every month, as well receiving great parts in an end of year short film. The Reel Scene is a combination of British style conservatoire training with the more flexible training programmes typically found in New York and L.A. The Reel Scene’s USP is that everybody who works there is a working professional and can impart up to date knowledge which is directly transferable to the acting profession. Highly recommended.
