We accept English-speaking actors from Uk and internationally (many actors fly in for 6 days to attend the course) over 18 years old, we require a self-tape audition reviewed by Reel Scene teami before you can join the course.

The Intensive Screen Acting Course includes two professionally shot and edited showreel scenes, directed by a working film director. You'll have the chance to work on the scenes before filming, and the footage will be edited by our experienced team, who have worked on projects for Amazon, Sky, and feature films such as Lord of the Rings, The Bystanders, Lucid, and The Wall of Mexico. This hands-on experience provides valuable industry insights and a high-quality showcase of your talent.

Yes, our Intensive Screen Acting Course includes professional headshots! You'll participate in a headshot shoot with a top agency, such as Pure Headshots. Not only will you receive industry-standard photos, but we’ll also guide you on how to get the best out of your session and what casting directors look for in headshots. The process is overseen by the Reel Scene team, who are both producers and agents, ensuring your headshots make the right impression

The course runs over 12 months, with in-person classes held for three days each month: Friday evening, followed by full-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Sundays typically involve filming the scenes you’ve worked on during the weekend. In addition to in-person sessions, students access online classes and 1-2-1’s between months. A schedule is provided at the start, though some dates may shift due to tutor commitments.

While agency representation isn’t guaranteed, you will be seen by agents and casting directors throughout the week, providing you with valuable exposure. You’ll also leave with a portfolio required for Spotlight, as we are a Spotlight-recognized training school. Agents from RS Talent regularly attend workshops and classes to scout talent, and though they may recommend further training if you show promise, many graduates have gone on to gain representation after completing the course.

Before the course starts, you'll receive all the necessary information. Generally, you'll need to bring a costume for your shoot if applicable, appropriate clothing for your headshots (this will also be explained), a pad, pen, printed scripts, and loose-fitting clothing for comfort. Make sure to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the sessions!
