Emma Lindley is an award-winning British film and television director and producer working across drama, documentary and shorts in the UK and US. Trained at the Polish National Film School, she brings a European directing craft into mainstream television production.

Her TV credits include major UK series for ITV and the BBC, including Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Holby City and Hope Street, plus earlier work on My Parents Are Aliens, 24Seven and Brum. She has directed in both studio and location-based, single- and multi-camera environments.

Alongside drama, she has directed and produced documentaries such as the BBC’s My Life, Who Are We? and Anatomy of a Closet for Ovation TV. Her award-winning short films include Red River, Thin Air and Wax. She also teaches directing and screenwriting at UK film schools, including Met Film School, and is a BAFTA and WFTV member with US representation.
