Andrea Clark is a UK-based casting director with a career spanning more than three decades, working across feature films, television, commercials, short films, video games, corporate projects and new media content. She began in the casting industry in 1991 as an assistant with Davis & Zimmermann and learned her craft working with established directors and casting teams, before moving into associate and lead casting roles. After founding Andrea Clark Casting in 2006 she has cast an eclectic slate of projects including Mutant Chronicles (2008), The Thief Lord (2006), Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj (2006), True True Lie (2006) and Dog Soldiers (2002), and served as casting consultant on Late Shift, a BAFTA-winning interactive title. Alongside film work she has contributed to commercials for McDonald’s, Lenovo, Huawei, John Lewis and other major brands, and cast projects in emerging formats. Before founding her own company she co-cast acclaimed features such as Keeping Mum and was part of casting departments on international productions like Hellboy and Blade II. Clark serves on industry bodies including the Casting Directors’ Association, and is a member of BAFTA and the Casting Directors’ Guild in London.
