RS Productions is the production arm of The Reel Scene, built to do one thing properly: make real films and put emerging talent on screen.

RS Productions exists to bridge the gap between training and industry by producing high-quality short and feature films that compete – and win – on the international festival circuit.

To date, RS Productions has produced over 25 short films and five feature films, with every short film receiving festival recognition, including official selections, nominations, and awards at leading international festivals.

Our films have screened worldwide, earning 65+ festival Official selections and 35+ awards/Nominations, including recognition from Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying festivals, such as:

Our work has also won Best Film at festivals including Dallas Film Festival and Sydney Indie Short Film Festival, and reached semi-finalist status at major international festivals in Melbourne and Florence.

These films are competing directly against established filmmakers, experienced actors, and significantly larger production budgets, making the level of recognition achieved by RS Productions and its alumni a serious industry marker.

Leadership & Industry Involvement

RS Productions is led by Alex Fidelski, CEO of The Reel Scene, director, and producer.

Alex has worked on five feature films, including casting and co-producing The Bystanders, now streaming on Disney+.

Beyond RS Productions, Alex has been involved in casting upcoming 2026 feature films, including Its the Blackness and Amorathian, both featuring established talent alongside Reel Scene alumni.

Alex is also currently developing a new feature film for 2026, once again collaborating with the creative team behind The Bystanders.

These projects actively create opportunities for Reel Scene actors and filmmakers to gain credits, exposure, and real on-set experience within professional productions. The films can then be found on streaming platforms!

Short film productions

The Reel Scene produces one or more short films as the graduation project for students who complete the Screen Acting Year Course. Many of these films are selected for film festivals and many have won awards in a variety of categories. We make sure graduates get to walk the red carpet and network at festivals and screenings.
