Richard Boon is a London-based, award-winning director of photography and Steadicam operator with extensive experience across documentaries, narrative films, commercials and music videos. His work includes international documentaries distributed on Netflix, Apple TV and Amazon Prime, with additional exposure through programmes such as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He co-produced and shot the documentary Ten Dollar Death Trip, released internationally, and has worked on high-end commercial projects including a £1 million campaign featuring the Mercedes AMG F1 team. Boon has also contributed to feature films as DOP, 2nd unit director and Steadicam operator, and regularly shoots in challenging environments worldwide, supported by professional drone licensing and wilderness first-aid training.
